To book online visit a collection page above, choose the package that suits you, or build your own, and then checkout securely. During checkout you'll be prompted to add your desired appointment date and time – we’ll let you know if there’s any scheduling conflict.
Once you're booked you'll receive a confirmation email detailing your purchase and a suggestion & tip sheet to prep you for your upcoming shoot.

How do I book my shoot?

If booking online you'll be prompted to add your desired date and time at checkout. We'll contact you to confirm your appointment.
Once booked, we'll send you a confirmation email with a few preparatory tips about your upcoming photoshoot.
What payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash.
Where are you located?
Our studio is on 29th street in Chelsea near 6th Avenue. Parking is available adjacent our building.
Do you shoot on location?
We run a series of Central Park shoots during the warmer months. We're also available for location shoots in NYC, the Hamptons, Hudson Valley, New Jersey and Connecticut. There may be a small additional travel fee for locations such as the Hamptons. Contact the studio for details.
How do I view my images / proofs?
We offer a 1 hour viewing session at the studio to view your edited 'proof' images. From these you can pick your favorites for framing, books, download or display
Final images are fully retouched.
Feel free to bring anyone to your proofing session who will be placing an order or making a purchase.
What about retouching?
We edit and retouch all images, final images for products are fully retouched. We remove blemishes, bruises, marks and correct skin tone as standard.
Color & black & white?
Some images just lend themselves to a black & white process, bringing out tonality, depth and drama in an image, whilst vibrant color in an image can really make an photograph pop.
In the editing process we'll select images which we think will lend themselves best to each process -- often you'll get a version of both. We can process your favorite images either way by request.
What products do you offer?
We offer a wide selection of products including framed & matted, glass-fronted prints, canvas wraps & acrylics, custom designed albums & coffee table books, digital files. holiday cards and more!
What framing options do you have?
Our preference is for classic thin black or white frame with white mats and glass front -- acrylic fronts just don't sparkle! A simple clean frame allows the image to stand out and will feel timeless and also fit a wide range of decor. We also offer gold leaf and dark wood frames in a variety of colors and sizes. Frames with multiple matted images are also available to create a montage effect.
In terms of large prints, we can go as big as you like, in any combination you like. For single portraits our most popular size is a 20 x 30". A set of 3 images together also looks stunning and really tells a story, for this we recommend 20 x 20" size.
A range of smaller desk prints, canvas prints and other options are available.
We use the highest-quality printing materials and methods. Framed prints come ready to hang.
Can I purchase the digital files?
We offer the option to purchase individual digital files or all the edited images via a download. All images are edited and high-resolution.
We can provide the purchased images on a thumb drive for $65.
A number of collections come with the edited digital files included.
Can I purchase printed proofs?
We offer a boxed set of printed 4 x 6" proofs from your gallery for $350.
How long will my order take to complete?
Once your order is placed delivery is approximately 2-6 weeks depending on products.
How do I prep for the shoot?
Babies & toddlers: as a general rule of thumb a fed baby is a happier baby. A feed about an hour before a shoot is a good tip, but you'll likely know best in terms of timing. Loose-fitting clothing to reduce any marks, moisturize any dry skin but don't worry about imperfections as we take care of that in post-production.
Poop, puke and pee -- we've seen it all, no biggie!
Toddlers & kids: happy kids are fed kids. And snacks are also a good way to bribe reluctant subjects or as a reward for after the shoot. Bring a few toys for any downtime and any refreshments too.
Clothing options for girls: a pretty dress or two with shoes. Something colorful that is fun and will pop. For boys a polo shirt, jeans or chinos, tee-shirts.
Family shoots: have 2 outfit changes available for the shoot, perhaps one casual and one a little dressier or in a different tone (jeans and tees / dress and sport jacket kids in shirts). Matching similar color tones works well.
If makeup services are required we can facilitate that at the studio, or simply come makeup-ready.
Maternity shoots: ideally you should be in your third trimester -- as bigger is definitely better! Wear loose-fitting clothing to the shoot that won't leave marks. Moisturize & hydrate. Come with your hair & makeup done or use our talented makeup artists who will take care of you at the studio -- allow an additional hour for makeup services.
With all shoots we'll send you a little prep sheet so you're ready to go!
How long is the photoshoot?
Kids and toddlers are 1 hour shoots, but we include a grace period for contingencies. Baby shoots we like to schedule about 1.5 hours. Maternity shoots are 1 hour (excluding any makeup or hair services). Mini-shoots (great for holiday cards) are about 45 minutes.
If my kids are sick or we can’t make the appointment can we reschedule?
Yes, we understand about sore tummies, runny noses and fevers. Let us know as far in advance as possible if you need to reschedule.
We allow you to reschedule up to 2 months from the day of the scheduled shoot.
A cancellation fee of $150 is charged if the shoot is not rescheduled in the 2 month time frame, or if makeup services are requested and a cancellation ensues.
